Su papel en la historia del derecho ha sido confuso y el principal objetivo de este libro es intentar una clarificación de su obra y la de los juristas que siguieron sus ideas. El profesor Rafael Ramis Barceló revisa la historiografía y propone una nueva manera de entender la obra de Ramus, a partir de una relectura de su obra, de una periodificación de la misma y de un análisis de la influencia que ejerció en los juristas que se inspiraron en él, desde Bodin hasta Leibniz y Thomasius. |
