Barrierefreie Umwelten ermöglichen Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen, am gesellschaftlichen Leben teilhaben zu können. Aber was genau bedeutet Barrierefreiheit? Was macht eine Gegebenheit in der Umwelt zu einer Barriere? Welche Aspekte entscheiden darüber, ob Umwelten förderlich oder hinderlich für die gesellschaftliche Teilhabe sind?
