Delo prinaša tekstnokritično izdajo briksenskih urbarjev za škofijsko posest na Gorenjskem (gospostvo Bled) z obsežnim strokovnim komentarjem in s strnjenim prikazom zgodovinskega razvoja blejskega gospostva v srednjem veku. Objavljeni viri se uvrščajo med najzgodnejša pričevanja agrarno-gospodarskega in zemljiško-posestnega značaja v slovenskem prostoru in kot taki že dolgo zbujajo zanimanje zgodovinske stroke.
