Dieser Band versammelt die bislang unveröffentlichten Brief-wechsel des Philosophen und Schriftstellers Günther Anders (1902-1992) mit Philosophen aus ihm nahestehenden Denk-schulen. Ein Teil der Briefe stammt aus der Vorkriegszeit der 1920er und 1930er Jahre, der Großteil aus der Nachkriegszeit bis in die 1970er Jahre. Anhand der Briefe lassen sich Andersʼ intellektuelle und biographische Entwicklung vom akademischen Philosophen zum politisch engagierten Denker und Aktivisten nachvollziehen, sie zeigen ihn als Teil eines intellektuellen Netz-werkes, zu dem zahlreiche PhilosophInnen, SchriftstellerInnen und AktivistInnen des 20. Jahrhunderts zählten und stellen damit ein zeithistorisches Dokument dar, das ein Stück deutscher Philosophiegeschichte des 20.
