Johann Gottlieb Fichte, der 1790 nachweislich begann, Kants neue Theorie zu studieren, hat sich auf dessen erkenntnistheoretische Vorgaben ebenso eingelassen, wie er zugleich aufbrach, um in der »Grundlage der gesammten Wissenschaftslehre« von 1794/1795 und den Wissenschaftslehren danach die Rolle von Anschauung und Begriff bald bewusstseinsphänomenologisch, bald in einem spekulativen Denken neu zu erkunden.
