Published Il passato è fondamentale per la costruzione del presente: per questo motivo i suoi usi, lungi dall’essere univoci e costanti nel tempo, cambiano in funzione di dinamiche ed esigenze finalizzate a sostenere visioni e progetti differenti. Attraverso diversi contributi, che intersecano i concetti di “luoghi della memoria” e di “cultural heritage”, il volume si pone l’obiettivo di storicizzare i processi attraverso cui specifici aspetti del passato siano stati e siano utilizzati (ricostruiti, valorizzati, commemorati, negletti, turistificati) nell’Europa contemporanea, nell’ottica di costruire il senso di appartenenza di diverse comunità.
