The attitude of all these authors can be described as 'keeping a finger on the pulse' of events whose importance can hardly be overestimated from the point of view of individuals and communities preserving those values that make us internally better and the world around us safer and friendlier.
Educators and pedagogues cannot be indifferent to the various aspects of crisis moments, as they have important consequences for education as part of culture. They explore academically the changes that are taking place and speak on issues that are relevant to the concern for human beings, for their all-round development and for preserving their dignity. The texts collected in this volume consider issues of transition and change, and formulate appeals for the protection of every human being, especially children and young people. |
