| Whakarāpopototanga: | As a proposal for considering care work in Swiss civil law, this dissertation introduces the concept of the 'Verantwortungsgemeinschaft.' Its purpose is to guarantee financial security for individuals performing care work. If the conditions for the establishment of a 'Verantwortungsgemeinschaft' are met, it provides financial security in the form of a joint maintenance claim and recognition of care work in inheritance law. If the individual performing care work and the person benefiting from it live together, their shared residence is also protected. Finally, criteria for determining the end of financial securities (dissolution of the 'Verantwortungsgemeinschaft') are proposed. |
