| Whakarāpopototanga: | Chromatographic analyses are traditional analytic techniques that can be implemented for the analysis of various complex samples. They include gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, ultra-performance liquid chromatography, ion chromatography, etc. Due to the combination of separation and detection abilities, chromatographic analysis has unique advantages in the analysis of complex samples such as natural products extracts, foods, body fluids, etc. With the appearance of novel detectors and sampling preparation methods, more hyphenated techniques have been developed based on chromatographic techniques while maintaining the importance of chromatographic techniques and related instruments. This Special Issue, “Advances in Chromatographic Analysis of Bioactive Compounds”, reports recent findings related to the chromatographic analysis of active and bioactive compounds in various types of samples. It consists of thirteen peer-reviewed papers that cover a range of subjects and applications related to chromatographic analyses for samples and related analyses. |
