Shrnutí:This book constitutes an overall study of the Castilian translations of Moralia de Plutarch made in Spain during the 16th century and aspires to be a more contribution to our knowledge of the survival of the author of Queronea in the Spanish Renaissance. In this investigation the version that Diego Gracián de Alderete (in the different editions appeared in 1533, 1548 and 1571) is included in this investigation, the most extensive of how many we have; In addition, the translation carried out by Diego de Astudillo of the Treaties of Cohibenda Ira and Amiugalia Praeccepta (1554);An anonymously appeared in Valladolid in 1538 of the work of Cupiditate Divitiarum; The selection of the apophthegmata due to Pedro Simón Abril and two more translations that are preserved handwritten: the first one, of the treaty of vitando aere alieno, due to Juan Páez de Castro, has arrived fragmentary, while the second, of the opusculusFrom Capienda Ex inimicis utilate, he left the pen of the "Master" Gaspar Hernández, a doubtful identification character.
