Zusammenfassung:Objective: to strengthen healthy lifestyles through educom-municative strategies, in families of university students of first semester dentistry. Background: health promotion allows people to take control of their health, providing well-being to the subject and family. Among relevant topics to achieve health, are lifestyles, acquired, family inte-rrelationships, social, with modifiable character that can be measured qualitatively and quantitatively with instruments such as Fantastic test, revealing strengths, weaknesses. Materials and method: quantitative, descriptive study, population families of 112 students of the course Fun-damentals of dentistry I, who prior informed consent, applied Fantastic test familiarly, obtaining categories of lifestyles excellent, good, regular / deficient in all life courses, tutoring of three teachers. Identified streng-ths/weaknesses, students implement edu communicative strategies rela-ted to predominant risk factors in the family. Results: A total of 333 peo-ple were educated, corresponding to 111 families, 74% located in stratum 4; 149 men with 45%, 184 women with 55%, 153 people with 46% during adult life; Good lifestyle was predominant with 45%, corresponding to 149 people; 32% of students prioritized didactic games in educommunicative strategies. Conclusions: the female gender predominated, mostly resi-ding in stratum 4, prevailing adult life course. Most families with lifestyle category good, higher risk factor sleep-stress, protective factor family and friends. Edu communicative strategies most used didactic games, videos, exercises; brochures, the least used songs. Strategies implemented on re-cognized weaknesses enable positive changes.
