In the brief I will present the general guidelines of the contract based on those indicated in some Decrees issued by the National Government and in the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court. En Colombia, el contrato de medicina prepagada es atípico, pues las partes tienen autonomía para establecer las cláusulas que se van a aplicar según sus necesidades. Esto ha llevado a que en algunos casos se presenten abusos por parte de las entidades que prestan el servicio de medicina pre-pagada, pues además de ser un contrato atípico es de adhesión.
