Furthermore, the publication includes the learners' opinions on expressions of politeness during communication situations, and it also presents the opinions of lower-secondary school teachers regarding teaching linguistic politeness in the Russian language. The theoretical foundation of this study focuses on linguistic politeness as pragmatic category and sociolinguistic category in the context of foreign language didactics. Linguistic politeness is investigated as an aspect of developing intercultural communication competence in the Russian language teaching at lower-secondary schools. |
