This research highlighted the need to raise awareness and continue working to promote these types of programs for young people who have dropped out of the formal education system.
To continue this line of work and understand the development of these programs across the country, the second agreement was signed, incorporating the Civic Association for Prevention (ACP), specifically on February 13, 2023, and with a duration until January 31, 2025.
This research therefore continues the line of work initiated in 2021, with the ultimate objective of studying the socio-educational aspects of Second Chance Schools across the country. This new agreement expands the analytical framework to the state level, setting out the objectives of analyzing Second Chance School Models and comparing the results with the previous study. It also aims to analyze the profile of users, as well as their motivations and expectations. |

Published El 1 de octubre de 2021 se firmó el primer convenio de colaboración entre la Universidad de Málaga y la Asociación Arrabal AID, con objeto del desarrollo de un “Proyecto de investigación en el ámbito socioeducativo relacionado con las Escuelas de Segunda Oportunidad en la provincia de Málaga”. Esta investigación puso de manifiesto la necesidad de visibilizar y seguir trabajando en la promoción de este tipo de programas para los jóvenes que abandonado el sistema educativo reglado. Con objeto de dar continuidad a esta línea de trabajo y comprender el desarrollo de estos programas en el conjunto del estado, se firma el segundo convenio incorporando a la Asociación Cívica para la Prevención (ACP), concretamente con fecha del 13 de febrero de 2023 y con una duración hasta el 31 de enero de 2025. Esta investigación continua por tanto la línea de trabajo iniciada en el año 2021, teniendo como objetivo último el estudio socioeducativo de las Escuelas de Segunda Oportunidad en el conjunto del Estado.
