The content includes examples of methods for exploiting data from movement analysis systems, applications of virtual reality and exoskeletons, musculoskeletal modelling, the use of electromyography and electrical stimulation to recover motor function, and the analysis of muscle synergies and patterns of movement. In addition to illustrating the state of the art in this area, this Special Issue shows possible developments that may improve the analysis and treatment of movement disorders. |
