Several synthesis methods are described, including dip coating, 3D printing, powder synthesis, sol–gel, spray pyrolysis, precipitation, extrusion, injection molding, electrophoresis, and plasma spraying. These methods are used to produce innovative biocompatible and bioactive materials, such as biopolymers, bioactive glasses, and bioceramics.
