Assessing causation requires linking epidemiological findings with the specific circumstances of the individual case. This interdisciplinary study demonstrates how epidemiological insights can be more effectively integrated into the assessment of occupational diseases in the future. The analysis under accident insurance law is complemented by a discussion of the relevant employment law disputes. |
