Aus interdisziplinären Perspektiven aus Politikwissenschaft, Public Health und Humangeographie fokussierte die Studie „Gesundheit! Teilhabe im Pflegesektor“ (2022-2025), wie es gelingen kann, Beschäftigung von Pflegekräften mit Migrationsgeschichte nachhaltig zu gestalten. Empirische Erhebungen liefern Evidenz zur Vorbereitung auf Deutschland, die Rekrutierung aus dem Ausland und das Ankommen in der Einrichtung, am Wohnort sowie das Bleiben. Ergebnisse zeigen, dass neben einem wertschätzenden und diskriminierungsfreien Arbeitsumfeld und dem Aufzeigen von Weiterentwicklungsmöglichkeiten insbesondere dem Lebensalltag abseits des Arbeitsplatzes konsequent Bedeutung geschenkt werden muss. Teilhabe wird durch Partizipation am Sozialleben genauso erreicht, wie durch den Zugang zu adäquatem Wohnraum oder die Möglichkeit, Alltagsmobilität zu realisieren. Aus den Befunden wurden partizipativ Handlungsempfehlungen erarbeitet. |
