| Riassunto: | This text has the intention of addressing the relationship between the inhabitants of a specific period of time in the past and the frogs with which they coinhabited. By way of a historical journey in the Paris of the end of the 19th century, Patricia Ayala explains the relation between human beings and the amphibians, while she also reveals the vision of one of the most relevant artistic periods in the history of humanity: Impressionism. The text is investigative in its first half, and in its second half, it shows us an artistic project that includes over 40 comic illustrations based on paintings of the explored artistic period. What is novel and, possibly, fun is that these illustrations exchange the characters of each literary work for frogs. The readers may look for the referred work and see the most relevant and well-known works of all impressionism. |
