| الملخص: | Training traffic instructors is a very important component of the work to realize Vision Zero in Norway. This vision aims to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries in traffic and represents an ambitious, long-term strategy to improve road safety nationally. Nord University plays a central role in this work by offering a profession-oriented higher education in traffic studies. Students receive a comprehensive education integrating theoretical knowledge and practical experience, which is important for developing competent traffic instructors. This scientific anthology contains ten peer-reviewed articles. The articles cover a broad range of topics, including practical traffic training, risk related to young ATV and UTV users, medication use and assessment of health requirements for driving licenses, history and ethics related to automated vehicle technology, the use of case-based teaching, traffic-instructor students’ preferences in the Myers–Briggs type indicator and their views on learning, as well as gender differences related to risk behavior. The anthology is particularly relevant for students and teachers in initial traffic-instructor education and continuing education within traffic studies. The multidisciplinary approach integrates pedagogy, psychology, technology, and health sciences, providing valuable insights that can help improve traffic education. |
