| Izvleček: | The study analyzes the interrelationship between environmental education and occupational
safety as pillars of sustainable development. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it addresses
the main challenges in the implementation of educational programs in these areas, highlighting
their role in reducing occupational risks and environmental impact. The methodology used is
based on a documentary review of international regulations, innovative pedagogical strategies
and successful cases in the integration of these approaches in different productive and academic
sectors. The results show that environmental education and occupational safety not only
contribute to the formation of responsible citizens, but also strengthen organizational culture and
regulatory compliance in companies. Barriers such as lack of investment in training programs and
resistance to change in some institutions are identified, but opportunities in the digitization of
learning and the use of emerging technologies are also highlighted. In conclusion, the study
reaffirms the need to integrate these approaches in a transversal manner in educational and
organizational plans, promoting a culture of sustainability and prevention to achieve the
Sustainable Development Goals. |
