Shrnutí:It explores the evolution of critical thinking from Ancient Greece to the digital era, analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on education and society. It begins with a comparison between the Athenian Agora, where philosophical debate and democracy took shape, and today's digital environments, where access to information has changed the way we learn. It highlights how the teaching of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, based on dialogue and argumentation, is still relevant to develop critical thinking in a data-saturated world. In the digital age, AI has transformed education through tools that personalize learning and facilitate access to information. However, it also poses risks such as technological dependence, algorithmic biases and loss of intellectual autonomy. The book emphasizes the need to balance the use of technology with pedagogical methodologies that encourage reflection and critical analysis. Another key challenge is disinformation, driven by the overabundance of data and the speed with which information circulates in social networks. Faced with this, it is proposed to strengthen students' ability to evaluate sources, question data and build knowledge based on rigorous analysis. Finally, the book concludes that the future of education should not be focused only on technology, but on the formation of critical and reflective citizens. AI can be an ally in this process, but it is essential to preserve the humanistic essence of learning, ensuring that education remains a space for questioning, creativity and autonomous thinking.
