Descripció
Sumari:The research was conducted using a mixed, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach. Its objective was to analyze the current situation of a company with regard to training programs and preventive measures for occupational hazards. Interviews were conducted with the manager, surveys were administered to ten workers, and direct observation was carried out. The data obtained revealed that, according to staff perceptions, chemical, biological, and mechanical risks are very high, while psychosocial, physical, and ergonomic risks are less prevalent. A correlational analysis using Pearson's coefficient (-0.78) showed a strong negative relationship between the level of training and the presence of occupational risks. Although the company provides personal protective equipment, there are still deficiencies in ongoing training. As a result, a training plan was designed around the identified risks, with theoretical and practical content on prevention and the proper use of protective equipment. This strategy seeks to strengthen the culture of prevention, improve occupational safety, and contribute to the well-being and productivity of workers.
