| Summary: | This study examines the importance of understanding organizational subcultures within local associations as a key element for analyzing the internal dynamics that shape community cohesion and as a conceptual bridge for interpreting the current challenges faced by universities. A systematic review was conducted using structured selection criteria to identify, analyze, and synthesize relevant scientific literature. The results indicate that local associations display diverse subcultures expressed through symbolic practices, leadership styles, participation patterns, and varying levels of social capital, all of which influence
their stability, adaptability, and collective performance. The discussion interprets these findings in relation to previous studies, highlighting significant parallels between the internal tensions of community organizations and those observed in higher education institutions, particularly regarding fragmentation, disputes among groups, and the weakening of collective identity. The study concludes that analyzing organizational subcultures offers a useful tool for community diagnostics and provides interpretive insights that contribute to understanding broader institutional processes, reaffirming the relevance of the approach and the successful fulfilment of the study’s objective. |
