الملخص:Why are decisions of social law arbitration boards accepted – even in the face of major conflicts of inter-est? This book offers a well-founded and practice-oriented answer at the intersection of legal and social sciences. Based on expert interviews and an analysis of literature and case law, the study develops a model—using the examples of integration assistance and long-term care—that explains the acceptance of procedural outcomes through legitimising mechanisms within arbitration boards, coordination processes, network resources and dynamics, as well as broader environmental factors. Michael Beyerlein conducts research at the University of Kassel in the fields of social and health law, as well as rehabilitation and disability law.
