Published Die Publikation basiert auf einem vom deutschen Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) geförderten Projekt zur Erarbeitung eines „Modellgesetzes für nachhaltiges Bodenmanagement in Afrika“. Das Gesetz besteht aus einem Rahmengesetz mit allgemeinen Grundsätzen der Bodenpolitik und diversen Kommentaren. Es ist anpassungsfähig und bietet einen flexiblen und modularen Rahmen, der bei Bedarf auf die verschiedenen Rechtssysteme und nationalen Gegebenheiten der Mitgliedsländer der Afrikanischen Union und Regionen Afrikas abgestimmt werden kann.
