While previous research has focused on the institutional and strategic aspects of internal party leadership, this book shifts the focus to personality. Drawing on a survey of over 22,000 Green Party, CDU and SPD members, the author demonstrates that members consistently associate positive leadership qualities, condensing them into three archetypal profiles.
