This special issue, therefore, covers some of the latest advances in sensor fusion for vehicle navigation, safe and efficient path planning algorithms from advanced graph-based methods to machine learning and advanced topics such as the collaborative navigation and control of connected and increasingly autonomous vehicles. The advances in the control and power technologies for electric vehicles are also covered, as well as the human–machine interaction factors in vehicle navigation and control for different levels of vehicle autonomy. |
