Özet:In recent years, digital transformation has become a central element in shaping the national reality of Ecuador, revealing both opportunities and challenges across different areas of society. This chapter aims to analyze this process from a comprehensive perspective, considering its impact on state management, economic dynamics, and educational processes. To achieve this, a descriptive and analytical approach is adopted, based on the interpretation of real situations and observable trends within the Ecuadorian context. The main findings indicate that digitalization has facilitated access to services, promoted new forms of entrepreneurship, and expanded learning opportunities; however, it has also exposed limitations related to access, use, and effective utilization of technology. These conditions have contributed to the persistence of inequalities, particularly among populations with fewer resources or limited connectivity. In this sense, the results show that digital transformation does not progress uniformly and that its benefits are not distributed equally. Finally, it is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen strategies focused on digital inclusion, skill development, and improved access conditions in order to promote more balanced development.
