| Resumo: | Divided into two thematic blocks. First, historical education through competencies in primary and secondary education. Six of the chapters deal with this subject, key to the historical training of teachers and students, with contributions from the universities of London, Barcelona, Valencia, Extremadura and Murcia. The second block refers to heritage education, another key in the didactics of social sciences in recent years. It also consists of six chapters, with contributions on Italy, Portugal and Spain. Finally, the last chapter of the book addresses the design of improvement programs for teaching, which can be extrapolated to the scope of historical education, focused on civic values. |
